Denplan Care
Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps you budget for your routine and restorative dental treatment. Your monthly fee is decided by your dentist and is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you will need. Following an initial assessment by the dentist of your oral health – for which there is usually a charge – you will be placed into one of five fee bandings, each with an associated payment plan. Denplan Care includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance) and access to Denplan’s 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline Routine and restorative dental care includes: –
- Routine Check-ups
- Hygiene treatment (including scaling and polishing)
- Dental x-rays
- Any necessary fillings
- Preventive dental advice and treatment
- Any necessary extractions
- Periodontal (gum) treatment
- Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
- Root canal treatment
Denplan Care Does Not Cover:
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates
- Referral for advanced work to a Dental Specialist
- Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist, except when you need temporary emergency dental treatment
- Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees and treatment under sedation
Denplan Essentials
Denplan Essentials is a dental plan which helps you budget for your routine preventive dental care. Seeing your dentist regularly helps to avoid having to undergo expensive, restorative treatments. The Essentials plan is easy to set up and no pre-assessment is required. Your dentist will decide how frequently you need to be seen for examination. This is based on the dentist’s risk assessment of your oral health. For any dental treatment necessary (i.e., crowns, bridges or fillings), you will be required to make a reduced payment.
Denplan Essentials also includes worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (Supplementary Insurance) and access to Denplan’s 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline.
Denplan Routine Care Includes:
- Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
- Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your Contract)
- Dental X-rays
- Preventive dental advice
- A 10 % discount on restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures is covered by Denplan Essentials
